Ramlila goes hi-tech this festive season with special effects

New Delhi: The Ramlila has gone hi-tech this festive season. You can catch it on your computer with live streaming. Some pandals have roped in celebrity guests as well.

From the best special effects that technology can give to the most famous god of Indian television, high profile and hi-tech is the way Ramlilas are going this festive seaon. The Luv Kush Ramlila, the oldest in the capital, promises a unique show with bigger and better sets and celebrity performances. They got Hema Malini to play the goddess Durga and popular television stars to pull in the audience.

People also came to cheer a flying Hanuman burning down Ravan's Lanka in glory with state of the art sound and lighting systems. Other Ramlila organisers are not far behind. The Nav Shri Dharmik Lila Committee, set up an 18 by 36 feet LED screen as a backdrop on the stage to give the audience a larger-than-life experience.
