NEET 2020 Postponed- NTA Latest Update

NEET(UG) 2020 Postponement

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has postponed the NEET (UG) 2020 exam. This exam which was scheduled on 3rd May 2020 had to be postponed due to the Covid-19 Pandemic that has spread all over the world.

The agency clarified its move by stating that, amidst the pandemic it would be unsafe for the aspirants to come out of their houses, therefore, this decision was taken. The NTA hasn’t announced a new date for the NEET 2020 yet but we can assume the probable date only after the Pandemic is under control. The NTA recently even announced the postponement of JEE April 2020 and this was all done keeping in mind the safety of the staff and students.

This is a critical time for not only the students but also for everyone across the globe as a health emergency has wrapped around everyone’s lives. Everyone is patiently waiting for the pandemic to be curbed and for normalcy to restore. However, the NTA did mention that this extended time can be used by the students to fill any learning gap and focus more on critical medical concepts.
