The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MCET) is a state-level exam for admission to B.E, B.Tech, and B.Pharm courses offered by government and private colleges and institutions. ● The students are considering admission to the first year B. Sc. (Hons) (Agriculture) / B. Sc (Hons) (Community Science)/ B. Sc (Hons) (Horticulture) / B. Tech (Biotechnology) / B. Agri. Business Management Degree courses are required to take PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) or PCB (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) group.
● The students are considering admission to the first year B. Tech. (Food Technology) / B. Tech. (Agriculture Engineering) Degree courses must register only for the PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) group.
● The students who are considering admission to the first year B. F. Sc. (Fisheries Science) and B. Sc. (Hons) (Forestry) Degree course must register for the PCB (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) group only.
● Students and parents are recommended to select the appropriate group (PCM/PCB or both) based on their course selection.
●PWD applicants who use the scribe / writer service will be given compensatory time of 20 minutes per hour of examination. (30 minutes compensatory time for the one-and-a-half-hour paper).
● MHT-CET 2022 results will be announced in percentages.
●Students should be aware that if they participate in both groups, PCM and PCB, their percentile score in Physics or Chemistry will not be interchanged.

MHT-CET 2022: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates of Indian nationality who have passed or are appearing in the qualifying examination, i.e. HSC /12th Class examination or its equivalent, with a minimum of 45% are eligible to take the MHT-CET 2022 examination. There is no upper age limit for admission or taking the MHT-CET 2022 examination.

●Candidates with Maharashtra State Domicile / school leaving certificate specifying birthplace from Maharashtra / birth certificate issued by the competent authority from Maharashtra state are eligible for MHT-CET 2022 candidacy.

● The candidate must be of Indian origin.
● The candidate must have cleared the qualifying examination / (Class 12 Science) with not less than 50% marks in aggregate for general category (Open) and 40% marks in aggregate for Reserved Categories (SC / ST / OBC / SBC / VJ(A) / NT(B) / NT(C) / NT(D) / EWS).
● The proposal for applicants achieving 40% aggregate marks in Class 12 Science / qualifying examinations for physically impaired candidates has been submitted to the Maharashtra government. It shall be executed when the Government's Resolution is obtained accordingly.
● Besides Maharashtra State (OMS) and institutional quotas, candidates will be admitted by MHT-CET / JEE / NEET).
●Merit will be determined by the percentage of marks acquired in the competent authority's CET (MHT-CET / JEE / NEET) and other weights specified in the admission rules declared by the gazette notification authorised and released by the Government of Maharashtra.
●These eligibility and requirement rules for admissions to undergraduate professional degree courses at state agriculture universities applied to all constituent and connected aided colleges.
● Government Resolutions make changes in admission eligibility from time to time.
● Candidate eligibility criteria for persons with disabilities:
● Candidates with permanent disabilities can apply for admission to seats reserved for persons with disabilities, providing a certificate identifying their disability. The certificate should clearly express that the level of disability is greater than 40% and that the disability is permanent.
