JEE Main 2022 Result Declared
NTA announced the JEE Main 2022 Result on August 8, 2022. The candidates can view and download the JEE Main 2022 Result from the official websites- jeemain.nta.nic.in and ntaresults.nic.in. They can download the scorecard using the application number and date of birth.
Along with the JEE Main 2022 Session 2 Result, the merit list and final answer key are also available. The candidates can check if they are eligible for IIT JEE Advanced 2022. The application process for the same will commence on August 8.
JEE Main 2022 Cutoff and Candidates Eligible for JEE Advanced
The JEE Main 2022 Cutoff is the qualifying marks for the exam and the requirement for participating in JEE Advanced. Candidates can check the JEE Main 2022 Cutoff here. The JEE Main 2022 Cutoff marks have decreased under all the categories except the General category compared to previous years' cutoff marks.

Q. How many NITs, IIITs & GFTIs are there in India and what is the number of seats they offer?
There are 25 IIITs in India, which together have 3433, including all categories. Also, there are, in total, 31 NITs. The total number of seats for UG admissions is 23,997 in NITs for JEE Main qualifiers.
There are 28 GFTIs in India that welcome students from all over the country. They offer 6,078 seats to students who clear the JEE Main Exams.
Q. Are any other Govt or reputed private colleges giving admission on JEE main performance?
In addition to 31 NITs, 25 IIITs, and 28 GFTIs in India, several self-financed universities and institutions also accept JEE Main scores for admissions, for example, ITM University Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, Vel Tech Dr RR and Dr SR Technical University, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, Techno Global University, Sironj, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi College of Technology & Management, Palwal, Delhi – NCR, and Amity School of Engineering, Raipur, Chhattisgarh amongst others.
Q. Whether 12th board performance has any weightage in JEE Main? If not, are there any eligibility criteria for board performance?
Students must remember that class 12 marks have no weightage in JEE Main ranks. However, the eligibility criteria for appearing in JEE Main require a candidate to have passed the board exam in the previous academic year. Students who are appearing for class 12 board exams the same year as that of the exam are also eligible to appear in JEE Main.
