3. Where And How To Check The JEE Advanced 2019 Results


Follow these simple steps to view your JEE Advanced results:

Step-1

Visit the official JEE Advanced results portal here>> https://results.jeeadv.ac.in/

Step-2

Enter your JEE Advanced Exam candidate details i.e. Candidate Registration No., Date of birth, Mobile No. and E-mail Address.

Step-3

Click the checkbox to pass the CAPTCHA test. Wait till a green tick mark appears in the checkbox next to the text ‘I’m not a robot’.

Step-4

Click on ‘Get Result’ to view your JEE Advanced result. You will be able to view the candidate rank along with the candidate score on the results page.

 

4. Details Included In The JEE  Advanced Results


The following details will be given in the 2019 Candidate Score Card on the JEE Advanced results page: 

  1. Candidate Name
  2. JEE Advanced Application Number
  3. JEE Advanced Roll Number
  4. Rank
  5. Marks in individual subjects along with the total marks

 

5.  How the JEE Advanced results are calculated


IIT Roorkee is the organising institute for JEE (Advanced 2019). The rank list for the JEE Advanced will be published by IIT Roorkee in 2019. To be considered for ranking, the JEE (Advanced) exam candidate should have appeared for Paper I and Paper II. When it comes to ranking, the tie-breaking policy will be initiated if there is a tie between candidates.

 

6.  Marking scheme for JEE Advanced


The JEE (Advanced) 2019 computer-based exam includes marks from 2 papers. As per the JEE exam guidelines, the duration of Paper-1 as well as the Paper-II was 3 hours each.

Here are a few details regarding the JEE Advanced 2019 Marking Scheme:

  • Full marks in JEE Advanced – if the correct answer is chosen by the candidate
  • Zero marks in JEE Advanced – if the candidate has not attempted the question
  • Partial marks in JEE Advanced – if the candidate has chosen a few correct answers in the questions with multiple correct answers.
  • Negative marks in JEE Advanced – if an incorrect answer has been chosen by the candidate

7.  JEE Advanced Cut Off


The JEE Advanced 2019 Cut Off will depend on the course, category and college chosen by the candidates.

 

There are two types of Cut Offs for JEE Advanced 2019:

 

 Admission Cut Off

It is the minimum Cut Off that will increase the chances of getting admission in the college preferred by the candidate. The 2019 admission Cut Off for each institute will vary depending on the number of applicants for each participating institute.

 

Qualifying Cut Off

It is the minimum Cut Off to qualify for seat allocation in the participating institutes.

The Cut Off for the JEE (Advanced) 2019 exams will be based on the following factors:

  • Total number of JEE Advanced 2019 applicants
  • Number of available admission seats
  • The complexity of the JEE Advanced 2019 exam
  • Past year’s cut off trends
  • Performance of JEE Advanced candidates in the 2019 exam

 

JEE Advanced 2019 Results: 

A total number of 161319 candidates appeared in both papers 1 and 2 in JEE (Advanced) 2019. A total of 38705 candidates have qualified JEE (Advanced) 2019. Of the total qualified candidates, 5356 are females. Mr. Gupta Kartikey Chandresh of Ballarpur is the top ranker in Common Rank List (CRL) in JEE (Advanced) 2019. He obtained 346 marks out of 372 marks. Ms. Shabnam Sahay of Madhapur is the top ranked female with CRL 10. She obtained 308 marks out of 372 marks.
