Fourth SGAI Assessment Test to Be Held in November

Students of class tenth are usually confused about their future goals. After completing tenth the students have to choose their streams and here arises the confusion.

What next? Science, Commerce or Arts?

In order to help students in their subject choices for higher studies, CBSE has come up with SGAI. The board will conduct its fourth 'Students Global Aptitude Index' assessment test in November.  SGAI helps students know their abilities and their aptitude level and thus eventually they know which stream is best for them.

SGAI will involve psychological questions and not the regular text book questions, so a student cannot prepare or mug up for the test.  It also provides counseling to the students as to why they should opt for a particular stream, based on their aptitude, and helps the students know the areas where they have higher scope of doing well.

Schools can register online for the test by paying a fee of Rs. 100 per student.  The last date for registration is October 15, 2013.

For further details, students can log on to the CBSE website www.cbse.nic.in.
