The first cut-off list for admissions to Delhi University (DU) has been declared, and the admissions will start from 1 July. A 12-member committee of principals has been set up to facilitate the admissions to the three-year undergraduate programme.
The admission process was delayed due to a conflict of interest between the University Grants Commission (UGC) and DU. UGC has given permission to the university to allow B.Tech and BMS students to apply to the existing four-year undergraduate programme.
The first cut-off is expected to be high as the number of seats has been reduced due to switching back to the three-year undergraduate programme.
