National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is the competitive exam that students need to appear for to get admission to BDS/MBBS courses at the undergraduate level. The exam is conducted at the national level.

2. Who is conducting NEET 2019?

Until last year, CBSE was the exam conducting body for NEET exam. From 2019 onwards, NEET will be conducted by NTA.

3. When will NEET 2019 be conducted?

NEET (UG) - 2019 will be conducted on 5th May, 2019 (Sunday) from 02:00 p.m to 05:00 p.m.

4. What is the mode of conduction for NEET 2019?

NEET (UG) - 2019 will be in offline mode (pen and paper test).

5. Who can appear for NEET 2019?

  • Indian Nationals
  • Non-Resident Indians (NRIs)
  • Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)
  • Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)
  • Foreign Nationals.

 6. What is the minimum qualification required to appear for NEET 2019?

The minimum qualification required for NEET is 10+2. A candidate who is appearing in the qualifying examination, whose result is awaited, may apply and take up the said test but he/she shall not be eligible for admission to the MBBS or BDS, if he/she does not pass the qualifying examination with the required pass percentage of marks at the time of first round of Counselling.
