CBSE Releases Live Test Material for ASL

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the live test material for the Assessment of Speaking and Listening Skills (ASL) for SA2 (2015–16) exams on their official academic website.

ASL for students in Classes 9, 10 and 11 will be conducted from 15 December 2015 to 20 January 2016. All schools affiliated to CBSE are requested to download the material available on the website and conduct the assessment according to the guidelines mentioned in the Examiner’s Handbook. For more information, visit the official website: www.cbseacademic.in

The aim of the test is to develop and strengthen the understanding of the topic mentioned in the syllabus. To ensure that learners have achieved the desired skills at the end of the school year, CBSE decided to conduct assessments based on listening and speaking for secondary classes. All CBSE-affiliated schools now require conducting summative and formative assessments for English in Classes 9, 10 and 11.
