Asked by geethabarani2002 | 05 Jun, 2020, 15:25: PM
Currently, 93% of sewage enters into ponds, lakes, and rivers without treatment. Untreated sewage is the leading polluter of water sources in India, causing a host of diseases including diarrhoea, agricultural contamination, and environmental degradation. That is why, it becomes essential to treat sewage water in India before releasing it into water bodies.
