Expert Answer
According to Faradays law, Electromagnetic induction or induced emf occurs in a coductor
if there is a rate of change of magnetic flux due to relative motion beween magnetic field and conductor
when conducting wire and magnet are stationary, there will not be any rate of change of magnetic flux.
Hence there is no induced emf and current in coducting wire
