Expert Answer
Quantities which have both magnitude and direction are called vector quantities.
For example velocity, force, acceleration, moment of force, electric field and magnetic field are vector quantities.
Quantities which have only magnitude but do not have any importance to direction are called scaler quantities.
For example mass, temperature, energy are scalar quantities.
