Asked by pis5a3 | 19 Oct, 2019, 18:19: PM
An atom is the smallest particle of matter. It is very small in size and it consists of the subatomic particles protons, neutrons and electrons.
An atom or a group of atoms can exist independently with charge(s). These are formed by the loss or gain of electron(s). They are called radicals or more commonly as ions. Ions are either positively charged or negatively charged.
