To fill a bucket 25 bottles of water is needed. How many bottles of water is required to fill the same bucket if the capacity of the bottle is reduced to 2/5 to its present capacity.

Let x be the capacity of the old bottle.
 
Since 25 bottles of water is needed to fill the bucket, we have

Let y be the capacity of the new bottle.
 
The capacity of the new bottle is given as
Thus we need new bottles of water to fill the bucket.
