Let x be the digit at the ten's place and y be the digit at the unit place.
→ Two digit number = 10x + y
According to the first condition, we get
x + y = 14 .... (1)
According to the second condition, we get
10y + x = 10x + y - 18
→ 9x - 9y = 18
→ x - y = 2 .... (2)
Adding (1) and (2), we get
2x = 16
→ x = 8
Put x = 8 in (1), we get
8 + y = 14
→ y = 6
→ The two digit number = 10x + y = 10 × 8 + 6 = 80 + 6 = 86
