ICSE Class 8 Maths Linear Equations The answer maybe rechecked. Ans: Let B's age= x Then A's age= x+5 5years ago: B's age was= (x-5)yrs A's age was= (x+5-5)yrs = x yrs As per question: A's age/B' age= 3/2 x/x-5=3/2 2x=3x-15 3x-2x=15 B's Present age = x=15 yrs(Ans) A's present age= x+5= 15+5= 20 yrs(Ans) But, The answer given in the uploaded video are 5 yrs and 10 yrs Please recheck this.

The answer must be 15 years and 20 years.
The video must have "2x = 3x - 15" in the explanation instead it is taken as "2x = 3x - 5"
So, the answer you are getting is correct.
