The outer dimension of a cubical box are 10cm*8cm*7cm. The thickness of box is 1cm. Find the cost of making the box if 1cm cube have 2Rs cost?

Volume of box with outer dimension = 10*8*7 = 560 cm3
Since the thickness is 1 cm, its innear dimensions are 8cm *6 cm *5 cm
So innear volume = 8*6*5 = 240 cm3
So the volume of wood reqd. to make the box = 560 - 240 = 320 cm3
Cost = Rs 320*2 = Rs 640
