Distance of Star from solar system = 4.29 light-year

1 parsec distance  = 3.26 light year

Hence 4.29 light year in term of parsec = 4.29 / 3.26 = 1.316 parsec

A star at a distance of one parsec would have a parallax of one second .

Parallax in seconds of arc is the reciprocal of distance of star in parsecs .

Parallax in seconds of arc = 1/1.316 seconds = 0.76 seconds
