Sum of n terms of G.P

Asked by ravikiran | 11th Jul, 2009, 06:33: PM

Expert Answer:

if a is the first term and l is the last term of an A.P. then,

 sum to n terms

=n/2[a+l]

so

[n/2][66]=126

solving this we get

n=42/11

which is a fraction, so it's not possible.

so pl chk the question again and resend it.
