how can we prove that sin38+sin22=sin82

Expert Answer:

Dear Student,

Here, the left hand side is

sin 38o + sin 22o

   Also,              sin θ = cos (90o – θ)

 So,             sin 82o = cos (90o – 82o)

                            = cos 8o                     ……………(ii)

Hence, from (i) and (ii), it is proved that

sin 38o + sin 22o = sin 82o
