how can we prove that sin38+sin22=sin82

Dear Student,

 

 

Here, the left hand side is

 

sin 38o + sin 22o

 

 

 

   Also,              sin θ = cos (90o – θ)

 

 So,             sin 82o = cos (90o – 82o)

                   

                            = cos 8o                     ……………(ii)

                      

Hence, from (i) and (ii), it is proved that

 

sin 38o + sin 22o = sin 82o
