The circuit is redrawn and shown above. We see that resistors R2, R3 and R4 are in parallel .

Equivalenet resistance of R2, R3 and R4 is

Hence, Equivalent resistance of circuit is ( 6 + 4 ) Ω = 10 Ω .

Current drawn from battery = 10 V / 10 Ω = 1 A

Current through resistor R1 = 1 A ;

Potential difference across R1 = ( 1 A × 4 Ω ) = 4 V

Potential difference across A and B = ( 10 - 4 ) V = 6 V

Current through R2  = 6 V / 15 Ω = 0.4 A

Current through R3 = 0.4 A

Current through R4 = 6 V / 30 Ω = 0.2 A .
