Sir , Can you please explain me " The conservation of mometum " with an example ? Thanks

the principle simply states that the total conservation of the system remains conserved if no external force is applied on the system.
Eg consider a system having two balls moving towards each other.
Thus the initial momentum of the system will remain conserved even befoore the collision and after the collision.
