It is to be noted that in the given figure , point C and D are getting shorted . Hence 2Ω resistor left of line CD and two 4Ω resistors right of CD are shorted.

Hence the simplified circuit is as shown in fig.1 . Two 2Ω resistors are parallel that gives the equivalenet resitance 1Ω .

Hence the resistance between points A and B is ( 3Ω + 1Ω + 6Ω ) = 10 Ω
