Expert Answer:

Area of a triangle with vertices, (x1, y1),(x2, y2) and (x3, y3) is given by,

A = (1/2)(T)

where, T is the determinant,

           |  x1  y1  1  |

T  =    |  x2  y2  1  |

          |  x3  y3  1  |

Using these,

Area = (1/2)((p-3)+(-2)(2-p)+(3+p)(3-2))

5 = (1/2)((p-3)+(-2)(2-p)+(3+p)(3-2))

10 =(p-3)+(-4+2p)+(3+p)

10 =4p-4

p = 14/4 = 7/2

The coordinates of third vertex are, (7/2, 13/2)
