Let P ( x1 , y1)  and Q ( x2 , y2) are two points and the line PQ connected by these points

are divided by point M(x,y)  in the ratio m :n , then coordinate of M is

Hence if line segment PQ that are connected by P(-6,-3) and Q ( 1, 7 ) is divided by M in the ratio 1:7 , then
