Evolution is a theory regarding change over time, whereby traits are inherited by offspring, and those which provide a reproductive benefit become more prevalent in a population over time.It helps an organism to survive in its surroundings.
Speciation is the process by which new species develop from the existing species.It helps in adaptation to new environmental conditions.
