Plz differentiate bw protected and reserved forests

Reserved Forests: They are regarded as the most valuable as far as the conservation of forest and wildlife are concerned. Villagers are not allowed to fell trees in the reserved forests. More than half of the total forest land has been declared as reserved forests.
Protected Forests: These forests are protected from further depletion. Forest communities can only collect wood from the protected and village forests for building their houses or for fuel. Almost 1/3 of the total forest area is declared as protected forest by the forest department.
