pls tell as soon as possible x am tomm why ar some pea plant tall and others short in nature?explain with refrences to the ole of gene in controlling characteristics. (3 marks)

Dear student,
The tallness or shortness of pea plant depends on the genotype of the plant. A pea plant with genotype TT or Tt, will be tall whereas a plant with genotype tt is a short plant. Since tallness is dominant over recessive, a plant can be short only if it has both genes for shortness i.e. tt.
