Hi Ayushika,
In a reflex arc, the sensory nerve fibres bring sensory impulses from the receptor organ to the central nervous system. The motor nerve fibres relay the motor impulses from the CNS to the effector organs. At both these stages, nerve impulses are transmitted via a process of polarization, depolarization and repolarization. Ion concentration difference is generated on either side of the membrane.
