Hi dear,

When the pendulum is at top of the swing, it is momentarily stationary. Kinetic energy is zero and maximum gravitational potential energy. As the pendulum falls, the potential energy transfers to kinetic energy. The speed increases as the pendulum falls and reaches a maximum at the bottom. Now the kinetic energy is maximum and potential energy is minimum.

Hope this helped.
