mona mam hey , i have a question that we are learing that solids are strong it can not break . Being a solid how come a ice cube breaks down that also eaily ?

Yes,it is true that solids are strong but there is no condition that they can't be broken.They can be broken by applying strong forces and in the case of ice when it is at room temp. it starts melting into liquid and hence could be easily broken.
