I've "read" the NCERT book twice. and I have my 1st pre-board tomorrow. Should I read the whole book again? If not, how to revise for bio exam?

Expert Answer:

Since you have your pre-board tomorrow, we would not suggest you to read the whole textbook once again. It is important for you to revise all the important concepts in your syllabus. Here are some study tips which might help you in last minute preparation.

  • Revise all the important points and concepts in the textbooks. You can visit www.topperlearning.com and go through the Revision notes for every chapter to grasp the key points.
  • Write down all Biology terms and definitions repeatedly. Get thorough with the important definitions as the subject is mostly theory.
  • Practice drawing neat, well labelled diagrams.
  • Go through the exercises give at the end of every chapter in the NCERT textbook.
  • Try to write the answers of questions on your own without looking into the textbook.
  • Solve questions from the question bank and try to attempt the Sure-Shot question section on your own.
  • If you need any help, please feel free to post your queries in the Homework Help section.

Hope you find these suggestions useful. All the best!!
