Is power directly proportional to wavelength? If so then why wavelength appears in the denominator (P = {L/wavelenth}^2)?

Expert Answer:

Power is not directly proportional to wavelength.

Energy and wavelength are inversely proportional, and hence power cannot be directly proportional to wavelength.
