In the given figure, PN and RM are perpendiculars to the diagonal QS of a parallelogram PQRS. Prove that PNS RMQ and PN = RM.

PS||QR and SQ is a transversal
1 = 2                            (alternate interior angles)
In PNS and RMQ
PNS = RMQ                   (90o each)
1 = 2      
PS = QR
PNS RMQ                (AAS)
PN = RM                            (c.p.c.t)
