Let the actual price of a tea set be T and that of lemon set be L.
In the first case net profit is Rs. 7.
Hence, (15/100)L - (5/100)T = 7
→ 3L - T = 140 .... (i)
In the second case, net profit is Rs. 13.
Hence, (5/100)T + (10/100)L = 13
→ T + 2L = 260
Adding (i) and (ii), we get
5L = 400
→ L = 80
Substituting the vallue of L in (i), we get
T = 100
Hence the actual price of Tea set is Rs. 100.
