If we remove the stamens of all the pea flowers in a garden, pollination will be affected.
In the absence of stamen, there will be no pollen grains to be transferred to the stigma of a female flower. Hence, there will be no pollination. If pollination will not occur, then the male gamete will not be able to fuse with the female gamete, hence, stopping fertilization. If fertilization will not occur, ultimately its post product that is fruit will also not be formed.
Fruit formation without fertilization is possible by a process called parthenocarpy.
Fertilisation may also be brought about under the influence of plant growth regulators.
