if the sun has no iron in it, then how it can have a magnetic field?

It's the circulating or charges, that are responsile for magnetic field.
All matter is almost gas and plama i.e. ionized gas in the sun.
Solar dynamo are the physical processes that explain the sun's magnetic field, and currently not completely understood. It's due to differtial rates of rotation at equation and higher latitutes of the plasma.
