If action is equal to the reaction explain how a horse can pull a cart?

Expert Answer
When horse is pulling a cart, four forces are acting on it. Normal reaction and the gravitational force balances each other while the force exerted by the horse on the cart is greater than the frictional force acting on the cart due to the ground. Due to this unbalanced force horse is able to pull the cart.
