*Each water molecule is bent due a specific property of Oxygen called Electronegativity.[H - O

*Owing to this bent shape the adjacent water molecules get bonded together by another specific bond called Hydrogen Bond.
* This hydrogen bonding forms cage like structures, enclosing air within.
*Due to this , despite being a solid, Ice floats on water.

ii> Density of a substance in solid is more than in the liquid state.
Density = Mass / Volume.
Since solids have particles packed closely, the mass per unit volume being high, density is high.
