Find the surface area of cubes with edge (i) 5 cm (ii) 2.9 cm.

Surface area of cube = 6(Side)2.

(i) Surface area of cube with edge 5 cm = 6(5)2

= 6 x 25 = 150 cm2

(ii) Surface area of cube with edge 2.9 cm = 6(2.9)2

= 6 x 8.41 = 50.46 cm2
