Surface area of a cuboid =
, where l=length, b=breadth and h=height
Given: l=3 m, b=5 m and h=3.5 m
Area of sheet required=Surface area of a cuboid
= 2{(3 × 5) + (5 × 3.5) + (3 × 3.5)} m2
= 86 m2
Cost of 1 m2 of sheet = Rs 21
Therefore, cost of 86 m2 of sheet=Rs {86×21}
=Rs 1806
