Drawtwo perpendiculars from A and B to CD that intersect CD at P , Q respectively
Let DP be x , CP be 3-x , AP = h
so , x2 + h2 = 121 , (x-3)2 + h2 = 100
On solving we get h = root(96)
area = 1/2 * (9 + 12) * root(96) = 42root(6) cm2
