a) The motion of rod is rotational as well as translational motion.
b) Velocity at A, VA and velocity at B, VB are along AB and perpendicular to AB.
As the rod is rigid body distance AB must remain constant or the components along AB should remains same.
c)
If vB = √3v0 we get vr = 2v0
Now, angular velocity of the rod is ω = vr/AB
or
ω = 2v0 /L
