The ability or power of a material to conduct heat, electricity, or sound is referred to as conductivity.

Electrical conductivity indicates how well a material allows electricity to flow through it.

Thermal conductivity describes how easily thermal energy (heat in most cases) can move through a material.

Ingen Hauz's experiment:

Rods of equal length and diameter made of silver, copper, iron, and glass are coated with a uniformly thin layer of wax.

The rods are then placed in the rectangular iron box depicted in the diagram. In a rectangular box, boiling hot water is poured.

The rods absorb heat, and the wax on them begins to melt. Using this activity we can conclude that, thermal conductivity is different for different material.

Also as we know, metals are good conductors ofelectricity whereas non-metals are poor conductors due to difference in conductivity of each material.

Copper, aluminium, and silver, for example, have relatively high electrical conductivity, whereas plastic, glass, and other non-mental materials are nonconductive.
