Explain SAS congruence condition with the help of a diagram.

SAS congruence criterion:

The Side Angle Side (SAS) congruence criterion states that, if under a correspondence, two sides and the included angle of one triangle are equal to two corresponding sides and the included angle of another triangle, then these two triangles are congruent.

Consider the triangles ABC and XYZ:

Two sides and the included angle are congruent

AC = XZ (side)

ACB = XZY (angle)

 CB = ZY (side)

So, ABC XYZ

Therefore, by the SAS postulate, the triangles are congruent.
