In the figure below, AB and CD bisect each other at O. show that: (i) AOC BOD (ii) AC = BD (iii) OAC = OBD.

Here,

AO = BO (given)

AOC = BOD (vertically opposite angles)

CO = DO (given)

Thus,

(i) AOC BOD (By SAS congruence rule)

(ii) AC = BD (Corresponding parts of congruent triangles)

(iii) OAC = OBD (Corresponding parts of congruent triangles)
