Examine whether the point (4, 5) lies outside or inside the circle of equation x2 + y2 - 2x - 3 = 0
 
If we put x = 4 and y = 5 in the given equation we get
42 + 52 - 10 - 3 = 30 > 0
Hence, point lies outside the circle of equation.

SIR PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS QUESTIONS : 1. Find the equation of the tangent to the circle x^2+y^2=16 drawn from the point (1,4). 2.
