Distance covered by a train is 72 km with initial velocity of 20 m/s in 30 minutes. Find it's acceleration

We use the following equation of motion to get acceleration a from given distance S, initial speed u and time duration t of travel .
S = u t + (1/2) a t2
By substituting relavant values in above equation, we get
72000 = 20 ×1800 + ( 0.5 × a × 1800 × 1800 )
By solving above expression, we get a = ( 1/45 ) m/s2
