It is agreed internationally to follow SI units for electromagnetism. SI unit of current is Ampere.
Ampere is the base unit for units of all quanitities of electromagnetism.
Coulomb is the unit of charge.
One Coulomb is the charge flows through a cross section area in a conductor,
when one ampere current passes through that area in one second
