Given arithmetic progression is 11 , 8 , 5 , 2 ......................
 
First term a = 11 and common difference d = -3
 
if -105 is rth term , then we have
 
begin mathsize 14px style t subscript r space equals space a space plus space left parenthesis r minus 1 right parenthesis space d end style
 
begin mathsize 14px style negative 105 space equals space 11 space plus space left parenthesis r minus 1 right parenthesis space left parenthesis negative 3 right parenthesis end style
 
we do not get r as integer by solving above expression .
 
Hence -105 is not a ter in the given arithmetic progression series

The students of a school decided to beautify the school on the Annual Day by fixing colourful flags on the straight passage of the school. They have 27 flags to be fixed at intervals of every 2 m. The flags are stored at the position of the middle most flag. Ruchi was given the responsibility of placing the flags. Ruchi kept her books where the flags were stored. The angles of a quad in ap. With d=10°.  Can I not take a-3d, a-d, a+d, a+3d as the angles. I am getting the angles as 60,80,100,120!!! Value of a=90° after adding the 4 angles.
